Brackett Library — Grab-and-Go
Grab your family and friends and play our at home escape room! Pick up a kit that includes all you'll need to solve puzzles, discover clues and accomplish tasks to complete the game. There are no locks or boxes to worry about. The kit is yours to keep! It's fun for the whole family! The game is geared for ages 12 and up! A new game will be introduced each month.
IRC Main Library — Children's Department
The Easter Bunny has hidden Golden Eggs in the Children's Department of every branch of the IRC Library System. Find one of the eggs and exchange it with Children's Dept staff for a goodie bag! Only one egg per child, per branch, while supplies last. Game can be played anytime during each branch's regular hours from Friday, March 26th through April 1st.

Are you missing human connection? Are you a writer, an artist, a thinker, a dreamer, or just someone who wants to see what others in our community are passionate about? Take home one of our journals, read what others in our community have written or sketched, add your own thoughts and creative energy, then return for the next person to enjoy! Each journal has a theme. Some are serious, some fun, some are to write about your favorite books and genres. There is a topic for everyone! All entries must be G-Rated and kind or they will be removed. Journals check out for one week.
IRC Main Library — Online
Stop by any of the IRC Library branches and pick up a Job Fair in a Bag kit. Grab and Go bags contain resources on job hunting, resumes, interviewing, local work resources, and clothing vouchers provided by the Salvation Army for those in need of interview and work attire. The Job Fair in a Bag kits are free to the public and are available at all branches on a first come, first served basis. The kits also contain various goodies from local businesses.

Bring a little sunshine to our senior community members! Pick up a kit @ the Brackett Library and make a homemade paper art piece for seniors living in local facilities. Kits include materials and instructions for making a paper art project. Take your kit, make the project, and return back to us at the Brackett Library. The completed art projects will be delivered to local senior facilities to brighten the resident's day! Kits are geared for all ages and skill levels. Kits will be available until supplies run out. Kits do not include scissors and glue.

Join us each week to play a virtual puzzle game! Putting the pieces together will reveal scenes from around Indian River County! New puzzles will be shared every Wednesday @ 10 AM on Facebook. Each month will be a different theme. Small prizes available for those who can name the location of each object for that month. Let's play a game! Each day in April we'll post a picture of a stack of books with their spine labels showing. The titles of the books are clues to a name of a different book or a movie. It's your job to figure out the title. Each correct guess puts your name into a raffle for a library swag bag! Email all answers to Hollie at email@example.com. A winner will be pulled on April 30th @ 3:00 PM.
Spring is in the air! Pick up your craft kit for an easy to make trinket dish! Each kit will contain items needed to make that month's project. Craft kits are intended for adults. First come, first served.
Pick up your kit filled with inspiration to create your own poems such as Shape Poetry, Blackout Poetry and more! Each kit contains a journal, sharpie, poetry toolkit, and a pocket poem. Kits are geared toward teens and adults. They are available April 1st-30th while supplies last.

Service. You will receive a box with a Young Adult title selected for
you along with some fun treats to enjoy! The treats are yours to keep

In the 1950s students used lockboxes for lockers and traveled to classes with them. The local high school in Cincinnati, Ohio found this unopened locker that appears to be at least 60 years old, and they have sent it to us to see if we can help them figure out to whom it belongs. Oh No! Your school club, the Green Team, has been collecting items to add to the school compost bin, but the custodians accidentally put the items in with the regular trash. You must hurry and sort through the bins and bags so you can get the valuable composting materials before the garbage collectors come to take everything away.
