The Hall of Valor is a public database of American military award citations, collected by Doug Sterner, a Vietnam veteran and Military Times contributing editor. All recipients in the database are verified by source material such as official award citations, narratives and/or synopses from individuals or records from the National Archives. Description: The museum is located in the restored Old Macedonia Colored Church (1908). It serves as a cultural center for the community. It houses permanent collections and special exhibitions which include: local artists, such as the Florida Highwaymen, A Black History Library, African artifacts, in addition to documents, photographs, and ephemera from Gifford Pioneers and Notables.
