Are you missing human connection? Are you a writer, an artist, a thinker, a dreamer, or just someone who wants to see what others in our community are passionate about? Take home one of our journals, read what others in our community have written or sketched, add your own thoughts and creative energy, then return for the next person to enjoy! Each journal has a theme. Some are serious, some fun, some are to write about your favorite books and genres. There is a topic for everyone! All entries must be G-Rated and kind or they will be removed. Journals check out for one week.
Tuesday, March 30th - 10:00 AM
Bring a little sunshine to our senior community members! Pick up a kit @ the Brackett Library and make a homemade paper art piece for seniors living in local facilities. Kits include materials and instructions for making a paper art project. Take your kit, make the project, and return back to us at the Brackett Library. The completed art projects will be delivered to local senior facilities to brighten the resident's day! Kits are geared for all ages and skill levels. Kits will be available until supplies run out. Kits do not include scissors and glue.
Wednesday, March 31st - 10:00 AM
Join us each week to play a virtual puzzle game! Putting the pieces together will reveal scenes from around Indian River County! New puzzles will be shared every Wednesday @ 10 AM on Facebook. Each month will be a different theme. Small prizes available for those who can name the location of each object for that month. Email Hollie @ firstname.lastname@example.org by the last Friday of the month to claim your prize!
